Skyscrapers and cement buildings retain heat during the day. The heat is released at night therefore city nights are not as cool as they should be.
Walk along a street in Makati at rush hour and you can feel the heat of the cars and trucks. Techinal progress is what is killing us.
you know what? its ironic how we became progressive and technologically updated when on the other side, we're slowly putting our very existence to extinction.
we now see the "effects of advancement" - never mess with mother nature.
